Perform a variety of tasks, machining, building, sanding, finishing, and installation. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Not assembly-line cabinet shop; many one-of-a-kinds. Attention to details a must. Pay is dictated by abilities, beginning at simple drawer construction to furniture grade euro cabinetry. Cabinet Creations manufactures all wood parts of cabinetry to customer's specifications. Dovetail drawer boxes, raised panel doors, moldings, furniture, kitchens, entertainment centers, wet bars, bookcases, vanities, commercial casework, laminate, and veneer work. Finishes include dyes, stains, distressing, rub-thru, and glazing. Some assistance with deliveries and installation required. Hours are Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week as a four man team in 5000 square feet shop. Cabinetmaker/MaintenanceTwo to three hours a day of janitorial and maintenance duties, with the remainder of the day used to assist cabinetmakers with light assembly in custom cabinet shop. Multitude of tasks including but not limited to hand sanding, operating woodworking machinery and hand tools. Must be able to retain and follow instructions. Good hand dexterity and math skills are a plus for advancement while learning cabinetmaker’s trade.
