We may be able to refurbish your kitchen cabinets for less than $10,000, depending on the size of your kitchen.
Do you carry any factory or stock cabinetry?
No. We custom build all cabinetry in our on-site shop located in Marion, Iowa.

Is custom cabinetry more expensive than factory cabinetry?
Pricing for our custom cabinetry is very competitive with non-standard factory cabinetry, which usually sells for approximately 20% more than stock factory cabinets. However, the quality of handcrafted cabinetry from Cabinet Creations is superior.
One very valuable feature of our cabinetry is that you actually receive 60 percent more drawer space than in factory-made cabinets. Everyone needs more storage, and our cabinetry delivers a lot more space in every drawer!

Can you match existing cabinetry?
Yes. Cabinet Creations has the expertise to duplicate almost any door style and finish.
Do you install the cabinetry?
Yes. To ensure the optimal, professional installation of cabinetry, we prefer to install the cabinets we build. During this process, we work to keep the area neat and clean for the occupants of the building and for other contractors.
Does Cabinet Creations charge a design/consultation fee?
Yes. We offer design services for a fee and charge an initial fee to visit your home or job site. At this visit, we will measure, photograph and gather the necessary information to provide a rough estimate for your project. This charge is discounted if you order from us. If you bring photos, measurements and details to us, there is no fee for the rough estimate. Rough estimates based on information supplied by the Customer, without verification by Cabinet Creations, Inc., represent our good faith estimate of the probable cost of any work under consideration by a customer. For countertop only quotes, there is no fee charged when you provide us with a simple drawing that includes dimensions and details.

How do we get a proposal from Cabinet Creations?

Do you allow checkout of cabinet wood, countertops and hardware samples?
Yes. You can check out many wood, quartz, solid surfacing, laminate and hardware samples. For your custom cabinetry project, we will create a custom finish sample for you.
What are your payment terms?
For most bid jobs, we require a 40% down payment to help cover the cost of materials. When the job is completed, the 60% balance is due. We do not schedule a job until a down payment or signed contract is received.

- We offer a 1% discount for cash payment on invoices over $1,000.00.
- On invoices over 30 days past due, interest charges of 1.5% per month ($5.00 minimum) will be added.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8-5. However, we welcome you to call if you’d like to schedule an early evening or Saturday appointment.
Can Cabinet Creations machine lumber for others?

What is the best way to clean wood?
For most woods with a finish, we recommend the spray product, “Cabinet Magic.” It is available from many retailers in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City area.
